Strip the metadata — keep every frame.
Strip GPS, dates, camera and C2PA data from a video in your browser — the video never leaves your device.
Each video counts once towards your 10 per day.
- What we remove: GPS location tags, camera make and model, encoder tags, XMP, C2PA / Content Credentials manifests, titles, comments, tags and other user data. Creation and modification dates are zeroed, so players show 1904, 1970 or nothing at all. Per-frame telemetry tracks (GoPro, DJI, 360 cameras) can hold a GPS trail and are not removed — we warn you when a video has one.
- Your video never leaves your device: everything runs in your browser. We read only the small metadata blocks, blank them out in place, and never touch the audio or video streams — so nothing is re-encoded, the quality is identical and the file size doesn't change.
- What it does not do: it removes metadata only. It does not change frames, so it does not remove visible watermarks or logos, and it does not remove invisible watermarks baked into the pixels themselves (such as Google SynthID in Veo videos). Anything that lives in the picture or sound survives.
- Formats: MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM and MKV. The type is checked from the file's bytes, not its name. Large files are fine — the video is read in small pieces, never loaded whole.
- Privacy: no upload happens. Our server only counts how many videos you've cleaned today; it never sees the file, its name or its contents.
- Limit: 10 videos per day per IP address. Each video counts once.
Your privacy — common questions
Is my video uploaded to your server?
No. We are not saving your video — everything happens on your device. The video is read and cleaned inside your browser and never travels over the internet to us.
Do you save, store or watch my videos?
No. We never receive the video, so there is nothing to save, store, log or watch. When you close the tab, it is gone.
Then what does your server receive?
Only a tiny request that counts towards your daily limit: the container type (MP4 or WebM) and its size. No video, no file name, no metadata.
Is there a file size limit? Can I clean a 5 GB video?
There is no size limit. Nothing is uploaded, and the file is read in small pieces, never loaded into memory whole, so multi-gigabyte videos work. Very large downloads depend on your browser and free disk space.
Does it reduce quality or re-encode my video?
No. The audio and video streams are not touched at all. Only the metadata blocks are blanked out in place, so the quality is identical and even the file size stays exactly the same.
What exactly gets removed?
GPS location tags, camera make and model, encoder tags, XMP, C2PA / Content Credentials, titles, comments, tags, track names and non-font attachments. Creation and modification dates are zeroed. Per-frame telemetry tracks (GoPro, DJI, 360 cameras) are not removed — we warn you when a video has one.
Does it remove AI watermarks?
It removes AI metadata and Content Credentials. It does not change frames, so visible logos and invisible watermarks baked into the picture, such as Google SynthID in Veo videos, stay.
