Strip the metadata — keep every pixel.

Strip EXIF, GPS, C2PA and AI prompts from an image without touching a single pixel.

Each image counts once towards your 10 per day.

How this works
  • What we remove: EXIF (camera, capture dates, GPS location), XMP, IPTC, C2PA / Content Credentials manifests, AI generator data such as Stable Diffusion prompts and ComfyUI workflows, comments, embedded thumbnails and any bytes hidden after the end of the image.
  • No re-compression: we never decode or re-encode the image. We copy the parts needed to draw it byte-for-byte and drop the rest, so the pixels are identical and the quality is exactly the same. The ICC colour profile is kept so colours don't shift.
  • What it does not do: it removes metadata only. It does not change pixels, so it does not remove visible watermarks or logos, and it does not remove invisible watermarks baked into the pixels themselves (such as Google SynthID). Anything that lives in the image data survives.
  • Formats: JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF, any file size. The type is checked from the file's bytes, not its name.
  • Privacy: your image never leaves your device. Everything runs in your browser; our server only counts how many images you've cleaned today.
  • Limit: 10 images per day per IP address. Each image counts once.

Your privacy — common questions

Is my image uploaded to your server?

No. The image is read and cleaned entirely inside your browser, on your own device. It never travels over the internet to us.

Do you save, store or look at my images?

No. We never receive the image, so there is nothing to save, store, log or look at. When you close the tab, it is gone.

Then what does your server receive?

Only a tiny request that counts towards your daily limit: the file type (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF) and its size. No image, no file name, no metadata.

Does it reduce quality or re-compress my image?

No. The image is never decoded or re-encoded. Only the metadata blocks are removed, so the pixels in the download are byte-for-byte identical to the original.

Is there a file size limit?

No. Because nothing is uploaded, any size your device can open works.

What exactly gets removed?

EXIF (camera, capture date, GPS location), XMP, IPTC, C2PA / Content Credentials, AI generator data such as prompts and ComfyUI workflows, comments, thumbnails and any hidden data after the image. The colour profile is kept so colours stay the same, and for JPG photos only the rotation flag is kept so they stay upright.

Does it remove AI watermarks?

It removes AI metadata and Content Credentials. It does not change pixels, so visible logos and invisible pixel watermarks such as Google SynthID stay in the image.
